Former Aquaman star’s financial problems are serious
Amber Heard just made her comeback. The actress was seen in Spain with her girlfriend and daughter. They were very quiet and on vacation in Palma de Mallorca, but the reality is that the Aquaman star is in terrible financial shape. Now, there are reports that she owes more money to her lawyers than to Johnny Depp himself because she lost the trial against him.
After the jury’s decision, Heard owes Depp a little more than $10 million, and new reports say that she also owes more money to her lawyers. She asked for a new trial because she doesn’t have enough money to pay her ex-husband.
How much do Amber Heard’s lawyers want from her?
After the judge said that Amber Heard has to pay Johnny Depp $10,2 million, it came out that the actress also owes her lawyers close to $15 million.
The actress owes millions of dollars to her former lawyers and to insurance companies like Tarvelers Commercial Insurance Company and New York Marine General Insurance Company. These companies are said to have helped her in her lawsuit against Johnny Depp, but they won’t pay for the actress’s costs at this point.
Who represents Amber Heard in court?
Heard’s lawyers in the Depp case were David L. Axelrod, Jay Ward Brown, and the team at Kirk Pasich. Even though the policy covered defamation of the entertainer, it was only for a small amount. One was for less than $500,000 and the other was for $1 million. This doesn’t even come close to covering the $15 million she owes to the lawyers who worked for her.
For now, we know that the actress put a property in the U.S. on the market, but even if it sold, it wouldn’t cover even a small part of her two debts.
